Based on 822 reviewsCountry Junction Restaurant is widely appreciated for its welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and comforting, old-school diner vibe. Guests frequently highlight the attentive and accommodating service, which enhances the leisurely dining experience. The menu offers a diverse selection of breakfast and lunch options, praised for quality and flavor, particularly the country-style and Southern dishes. Quaint family restaurant with a comforting atmosphere. Server was great and accommodating. We were there for hours catching up, and they didn't give us any flak (or dirty looks) like some chain restaurants might. Home fries were okay, some lacked any crunch at all; the rest of the food was great.
My wife and I eat here at least once a week usually on Sundays. I see at least and actually it is once a week. Today our youngest daughter joined us for breakfast. The food was good as normal. The service was also. It’s a real laid-back family like atmosphere and a little country town. The menu has a wide variety of breakfast and lunch foods as well as sandwiches. Today I had the country fried steak, fried potatoes, fresh, sliced tomatoes, and half-and-half tea. The place could use a very thorough cleaning, but I would not say that they would fail the health inspection by any measure. We see the same faces every week when we go, and sometimes some of the faces want to talk to people across the room and have discussions, which can be annoying. I suppose that these people know each other from the community and are just having a good time.
Old school diner feel. The food is on point for breakfast. Had all the local old heads in there swapping stories. The servers were concerned about making my order of food the best possible experience. Place was clean and the next time I'm back in town I will eat my breakfast there.
We have been wanting to stop and try their food but never had the chance until today. I had the catfish, hush puppies, turnip greens & fresh cabbage. Will had the burger & tots, plus what I don’t eat.. All the food was very good. The cabbage was on the cold side. The crust on the Fried catfish was crispy. Hamburger seasoned good. Our server didn’t check on us. My husband ran out of tea. I ran out of Diet Coke. I have food but no drink. My husband finally saw our server, so I got a drink refill and she apologized. We may come back when we pass this way. Maybe next time we will have better service
We love you guys! We moved here from NYS and we're disappointed at the multitude of chains. We were so happy to find you and we now bring all of our family and friends! Thank you for being so awesome and amazing! You are appreciated!
This place is the place my husband took me on our first date over 20 years ago. It was great back then. We decided to go back cause we were on vacation from FL. And we also had our kid with us. It was good food. We ordered burgers. The only issue is we were charged per piece of cheese like our kid had a triple burger, so it was $3 for his cheese and $2 on mine and my husband's each. It got expensive real quick, and honestly, it wasn't worth the price we paid plus leaving a 20% tip for the waitress that didn't once refill my drink. My burger was only $12 and some change but jumped to over $17 with the cheese and fries and then $9 for 3 drinks, so for our kids and my husband's, it was more. The place itself could use some work, kinda fix the flaws. Other than that yea its a pretty good place.
Just one of the best breakfast’s I’ve had in years. The food was amazing, all the servers and cooks were so nice and all worked together. I would recommend this place, and will be back. Prices were very reasonable.
Possibly the best hush puppies I've ever had. This place is everything you'd ever want from an American roadside diner. The food is tasty and honest. The staff is friendly and helpful. The decor is wonderful, I wouldn't change a thing.
